Delete your Sk8tics account

Delete it in the app: tap Account at the top of any screen, then Delete my account at the bottom of the sheet.

Delete it in the app

Open Sk8tics and tap Account at the top of any screen. Scroll to the bottom of the sheet, type your username where it says Type your username to confirm, then tap Delete my account.

If you can't sign in

Only if you can't get into the app, use the contact form with the email address on the account, and say Delete my Sk8tics account in the message. Include your username if you remember it. We reply to that address to confirm before we delete anything.

A parent or guardian may make this request for a child’s account. Say so in the message and give the child’s username; we do not need the child’s agreement.

What gets deleted

• Your sign-in and your email address.
• Your profile — username, name, discipline.
• Every practice session and every element mark in it.
• Your programmes and their planned content.
• Every run-through score a coach recorded for you, and their notes.
• Every competition record saved against you.
• Your links to coaches.
• Any device registered for notifications.

If you are a coach, the records you wrote about other skaters are deleted too, since they are part of your account.

What is not affected

Competition protocols published by Skate Ontario and skatingresults.ca are their documents on their websites. Deleting a Sk8tics account removes our copy of a result; it has no bearing on the official record, which we do not control and cannot change.

How long it takes

Nothing is retained after deletion for analytics or any other purpose, because there is no analytics. Routine encrypted infrastructure backups may hold a copy for a short period before rotating out; they are not readable by the app and are never used to restore an individual account.
